1977 Chevrolet Caprice Classic
305 cid, TH700R4, 3.42:1.
I've had this car since 1998, the first of the "small" fullsizes in the 70's. This Caprice is loaded with options, except for the engine, which is only the small 5 liter V8. I have all sorts of plans for it! The engine is already rebuilt, with small performance upgrades like Edelbrock Performer intake and camshaft, new 4-barrel carburetor, "HO" cylinder heads from Monte Carlo, flat-top pistons and dual exhaust. Unfortunately, this land yacht still deserves a lot more power, so a new engine is under the works. Check out "future plans" for more details.
